Sheila Moore

Sheila Moore is the adviser for the Meridian Moments yearbook, The Meridian Daily online news, and the District 15 News (show and live streaming). This is Moore’s 15th year advising a book, and she is proud of the work her three editors-in-chief have contributed to changing the program this year. She serves on the IHSA Journalism Advisory Committee and is a member of the Illinois Journalism Education Association, Journalism Education Association, Southern Illinois Scholastic Press Association, and will graduate in May with a Master’s in Journalism Mass Communication. In her free time, she enjoys traveling with family, puzzles, watching Broadway musicals, writing, drinking coffee, and playing with her dog, Judith. Yes, that’s a nod to The Walking Dead. Her ideal day would probably be doing a puzzle of The Walking Dead while drinking coffee with her family, her dog by her side, then writing about the experience after capturing the moment with the perfect photo.
